As reported by KNDO, the City of Yakima's King Street Irrigation System was temporarily shut down on Friday, April 19th so repairs can be made to the pipeline that supplies the system with water and serves approximately 160 customers.Those customer's homes are primarily located in the area from West Mead Avenue to West Pierce Street between 3rd and Cornell Avenue, reports KNDO.

KNDO says that the repairs to the pipeline are expected to be completed by Friday the 26th and anyone wanting additional information can contact Irrigation Supervisor Alvie Maxey at 575-6194.
