The search is out for two suspects who badly injured a 25-year-old man during a home invasion robbery along the 900 block of North 16th Avenue in Yakima, reports KNDO.

Around 9:30 am on Saturday the two suspects knocked on the door, rushed the victim, tied him up and filled their backpacks with valuables, as KNDO states.

KNDO says the victim was hit several times in the head, possibly with a tire iron, with the suspects fleeing the scene and the victim being taken to a hospital for non life-threatening injuries.

The suspects are described below as provided by KNDO:

Suspect #1: White male, approximately 25 years of age, pale complexion with sandy blonde hair and an ACE bandage or cast on his right forearm.

Suspect #2: Light skinned black male, also approximately 25 years old.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Yakima Police Department.
