Yakima Gearing Up For This Summer’s Roadwork Projects

he city of Yakima is ready to do a lot of street work this summer with funding coming from a $5 million bond and a streets and traffic position that were eliminated in the 2013 budget. The work includes projects on all major roads in Yakima including Tieton Avenue, Washington Avenue and Nob Hill Blvd.

Yakima put together a separate list of additional projects. But that will only get completed if voters pass the 30-dollar car tab fee when the issue appears on the up coming April ballot.
