Average retail gasoline prices in Yakima have risen 2.4 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $4.17 per gallon May 20. This compares with the national average that has fallen 2.8 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.70 per gallon according to the gasoline price website.

Gas prices on May 20 were 16.3 cents per gallon higher than the same day vs 2011 and are 13.2 cents per gallon higher than one month ago. The national average has decreased 15.1 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 13.7 cents per gallon higher vs 2011.
