Average retail gasoline prices in Yakima have risen 2.6 cents per gallon in the past week averaging $3.30 according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 91 gas outlets in Yakima.

This compares with the national average that has increased 4.9 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.29.

Prices are 3.7 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 7.5 cents higher than a month ago.

"The sub $3-per-gallon gas was great while it lasted, but unfortunately it has nearly completely dried up," said GasBuddy.com Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan. "As of late Sunday night, zero states were seeing their averages under $3."
