You can learn more about the Affordable Care Act in Washington state during a forum next week in Yakima. Tuesday, May 14, 5:30 p.m., at the Yakima Arboretum, the League of Women Voters of Yakima County (LWVYC) in partnership with Northwest Health Law Advocates (NoHLA) will present a Consumer Forum on the Affordable Care Act in Washington State. The event is free, and open to the general public.

NoHLA’s Executive Director, Janet Varon, and Staff Attorney Emily Brice, will give you the local perspective on how the Exchange and Medicaid Expansion will impact Yakima County. Varon says the forum will give consumers up-to-date information on Health Care Reform as it is being implemented Washington State through the Health Benefit Exchange and the expansion of Medicaid.
