Yakima Drivers Impacted by Road Construction on Fruitvale

Regular travelers on Fruitvale Blvd. will be impacted early this next week.

The replacement of a gas main on Fruitvale will impact traffic by cutting down the road to one lane in each direction. Work will begin at 7:00 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3 and is expected to end no later than Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 4:00 p.m.

Businesses and homes along the road will still be accessible during the length of construction.

All lanes will be available overnight closing in the morning.

The construction schedule will be dependent on weather, equipment failure and emergencies. Emergency vehicles will be onsite maintaining traffic.
