Yakima County Courthouse Become More Energy Efficient

As work continues at the Yakima County Courthouse to make the building more energy efficient, another project is underway at the former county restitution center in Union Gap to turn the building into county offices. An article in today's Yakima Herald says the county wants to rent the center to county departments to help pay off bonds the county sold when it turned the facility into a jail back in 2000.
