West Valley triple murder suspect Tracey Culton appeared in court on Thursday. The court decided a big jury pool will be needed to find an impartial panel.

Yakima County plans to send more than a thousand questionnaires to create a jury pool of 300.

Clerks estimate it will need up to a month to work on the jury.

The judge stepped in to make sure the case runs smoother than the triple murder case against Kevin Harper that ended in a plea deal.

Culton is scheduled for trial in March for the deaths of three people at their West Valley home last year.
