The Yakima City council on Monday held a study session in a search for more revenue. The council is looking to find money to add $5 million to the city rainy day fund. The council on Monday considered a number of different rate increases including a $20 vehicle registration fee and increases in water, sewer and garbage service. The fund is currently at $6.9 million. The city wants it to be at least $12 million. No decisions were made Monday. The council will hold more budget talks next month.
