Yakima City Manager Tony O'Rourke could leave Yakima in the near future -- he's among nine finalists for the city manager position in Sedona, Ariz., according to the city's website.

An article in today's Yakima Herald-Republic says O'Rourke has applied for the job for personal reasons, not because he's unhappy with his current job in Yakima. He says his wife would like to move closer to her parents by living in Tucson, the newspaper reports.

More interviews for the finalists -- including O'Rourke -- continue in  Sedona next month. O'Rourke started as Yakima city manager in 2012.
