Yakima City Council To Consider Two Homeless Shelter Proposals Tomorrow

Yakima City Council will consider two proposals related to homeless shelters at its regular business meeting tomorrow night.

The council will consider temporary cold weather shelters as well as a faith-based shelter to operate during the winter.

Also up for discussion, a potential agreement with Transform Yakima Together to extend the lease at the Camp Hope encampment. That camp opened in March and is scheduled to close November 15th.
