Yakima City Council Swears in Sara Bristol

The new year meeting of the Yakima City Council will see a new member taking the oath of office and possibly a new mayor elected. New council member Sara Bristol will take the oath of office tonight after being elected in November. Current council members Kathy Coffee and Maureen Adkison who were both reelected also will be sworn into new 4 year terms. The council will also elect a new mayor. However, Mayor Micah Cawley says he's interested in serving another term.
