The Yakima City Council on Tuesday fixed a zoning issue and land swap to continue planning for the Yakima YMCA aquatic center proposed for Chesterly Park. The council last week voted 4-3 against the land swap because of concerns the land owner would face a big penalty. But the problem was resolved Tuesday and the council voted to move the project forward. YMCA Director Bob Romero says they've so far raised $12 million for the $20 million facility. Romero will appear on the Morning News Wednesday morning at 7:45 to further talk about the issue.
