Yakima City Budget Talks Continue Tuesday

The Yakima City Council will be talking about the city budget when it meets next Tuesday at city hall. The general fund budget of $76.3 million is expected to increase by about 3 percent in 2017. City officials are looking at an increase in utility rates. The council meets next Tuesday at Yakima city hall. The next budget meeting is set for December 6. The budget is expected to be finalized on December 13.
