Yakima Citizens Can Help Boston Bombing Victims

yakimaredcross

We may be a long ways from Boston, but there is a way Yakima area residents can help the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings.   You can help be giving blood. Lisa Rhinehart, Executive Director of the Yakima office of the American Red Cross says “all blood types are needed, we were told to get as much blood as possible. All Red Cross offices are putting a call out to blood donors.”   If you can give blood, a special blood drive is being held in Yakima today at the Red Cross office at 302 South Second Avenue.  To make an appointment call 1-800-RED-CROSS.
