Yakima Businessman Announces Candidacy For 14th District Seat

A businessman from Yakima has announced his candidacy for the 14th District seat being vacated by the retiring Norm Johnson.
Chris Corry, a republican says "with the balance of power being so
delicate in the Legislature right now, we need to send a strong conservative leader to
Olympia.”
Chris Corry works as an insurance advisor and is a first-time candidate for public office. He says he's actively involved in community organizations including Rotary and Crime Stoppers Yakima County.
