In the words of Beach Boys' Brian Wilson..."Catch a wave and you're sitting on top of the world."

MouldCAM of Bristol, Rhode Island is building the world largest surfboard that could break a world record for the most people to catch a wave on a surfboard.

MouldCAM says that long board measures 42 feet long by 11 feet wide and can hold 62 people. The board will be sent to California to be painted, finished and ready before visiting Huntington Beach competition in mid-June.

The project manager Bob Steel says that they have teamed up with a aerospace engineer to make sure the distribution of weight will be at its optimum. This is a must! Because to set a new record Sixty-two people must stand on the board for 10 seconds!

Good luck!!

Cue The Beach Boys!
