Last week the Farm Bill failed in the United States House.  One reason for it’s failure is the proposed cuts in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.  Many Democrats voted against it because they believe the cuts would hurt poor people.  Others say the cuts would just reduce waste.  What is the truth?  Eric Mitchell from the Washington D.C. based group “Bread of the World,” gives us his perspective.
