Prosecutors have charged a man from White Swan with second-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of his neighbor earlier this month.

Linden Asbell, a 53-year-old, is now charged in the death of 65-year-old Mason Creel.

Yakima County Sheriff's Deputies say a dispute over the use of a driveway led to the fatal shooting on Feb. 4. Detectives say the neighbors had a long-standing dispute and the shooting happened after Creel left his truck to close to Asbell's driveway after it broke down.

Court documents say Asbell called authorities to report he had shot his neighbor, but told them he was going to take a shower and play cards while he waited for Deputies to arrive.

Asbell is being held in the Yakima County Jail on $1 million bail.
