White Pass Ski Area Opens Friday

The White Pass Ski Area is set to open on Friday. Spokesperson Kathleen Goyette says says they've been waiting for a parade of storms to drop snow especially at the higher elevations. "We're planning on rolling this weekend it just depends on how much snow stacks up."
Goyette can't say how many chairlifts will be open or how much terrain will be accessible but she says the storms are promising to drop a lot of snow in the Washington Cascades. You'll find updates at the skiwhitepass.com.
