When Do Women Want To Look Their Best? — Dave’s Diary

Just the other day we told you about a study that found makeup on women only made about a 2% difference in their attractiveness.  Ladies, we love you just as you are…but that doesn’t stop you from making the effort to look your best on special occasions!And get this--women want to look better at job interviews than their weddings! Apparently nothing inspires a woman to get all dolled up as much as a job interview.

Maybe it's got something to do with the tough employment market, but in a recent survey ladies were more intent on looking their best for a shot at a job than even their own wedding, by a 75 to 69 percent margin. Don’t they realize being married to us men IS a FULL TIME JOB!!

About 47 percent listed a friend's wedding as the place they felt they should look their finest, possibly just to show up the bride.   45 percent picked a first date as the time they'd most like to dazzle, and 32 percent figured a class reunion is the best place to shine. Another 29 percent felt any old date was a good enough reason to wear their most alluring outfits. In all, more than 1,000 women were surveyed and a third of them admitted to spending more than four hours to make themselves as beautiful as possible.
