What’s Your Favorite Thing About the Yakima Farmer’s Market?

The Yakima Farmer's Market is hitting it's stride now that the season has moved into July, with more offerings each and every week. What do you like most about the market?

My family loves the Yakima Farmer's Market in the summer. My favorite things are the sweet corn and tomatoes, while my children love the shaved ice and Filipino food. The heat of a Yakima summer Sunday can be a little much, but by and large, it's always a pleasant experience.

We like to play a little game when we attend the market. We all try to guess how many people that we know that we will run into. Sometimes it's a few, sometimes a lot. (We play the same game when we go to Costco)
