If you have ever had a little too much to drink you know what a hangover feels like. The headache, dizziness, nausea, etc.  BUT have you ever experienced an emotional hangover?

Fox news reports on a recent study by a team at New York University say emotional hangovers are usually caused by life events such as work incidences, a life disappointment, a friendship issue, or even an argument.  The point is that emotional experiences can cause lingering physiological effects that can feel like that other kind of hangover for long periods of time after the emotional events have ended –thus the “hangover.”

Researchers say if you're suffering with what feels like an emotional hangover, try exercising, changing to a better diet and expressing your emotions.
