It's Election Day 2016! Yakima County Auditor Charles Ross says he expects a lot of people to turn in ballots before the night is over.
"So far we're looking at a nearly 50 percent turnout and that's more than most regular elections we've done going all the way back to 2008."
Many more ballots are expected Today. In the end Ross expects a 70 to 80 percent turnout in the county and State officials say they expect the same numbers statewide.
Records have been set in the state. 81.3 in 2012 and 84.6 in 2008.
