How much do we love our pets?  Or perhaps a better question is - for how long have we loved our pets as much as we do?  Let’s try this – at least  14-hundred decades in dog years!  According to a FOX news report, archaeologists have discovered a 2,000-year-old dog graveyard near the Arctic Circle in Russia's Siberia.

Scientists at the University of Alberta uncovered the buried remains of - five dogs. Ok, we never said it was like the Tahoma Cemetery of dogs!

Archeologists say the canines likely served as pets, workers, and even –sorry spot- sources of food. The people who lived in the area depended on dogs to survive, and in some cases, the dogs were being treated just like people when they died.

Honoring dogs when they die is one thing, but treating them right when the tail is still wagging is better.  We have a couple hundred dogs that need your careful consideration and vote for our Bark Week champion,   Check out the noteworthy bar on our website www.newstalkkit.com and help us honor Yakima’s Top Dog.

Shout out to MO and the bulldog tough boys at the Brumback Law Group for helping us give your dog enough cash to finally get rid of the cat once and for all!
