It is called We Day and it happens every year in Washington State.

We Day is part of a family of organizations, including Free the Children and Me to We, that has a shared goal: to empower a generation to shift the world from ‘me’ to ‘we.'

Yakima School District Spokesperson Mary Beth Wright says about 100 students from the district will be attending the event in Seattle on March 21 at the Key Arena. Kids at Eisenhower High School have been doing things in the community this year including a campaign with the downtown rotary to ensure kids are immunized against polio in third world countries.

The day is filled with speakers, inspirational music and performances designed to engage kids in a global world.
