Water Repair Work On South 18th Street Wednesday

Your commute could be impacted by city workers doing repairs if you use South 18th Street between East Viola Avenue and East Mead Avenue. Delays are expected on Wednesday because of water service repairs.
The work will begin at 7:00 am and continue until 3:30 pm. During that time, Simpson Lane will be also be closed between South 17th Street and South 19th Street.
The project may not be completed until Thursday and drivers are encouraged to use alternative routes, if possible.
Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible and emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area.
