Watch Out Facebook Users, Scammers are Waiting

Call it Hackers delight: a Facebook scam! The latest way computer hackers are getting access to your computer and personal information is through Facebook. You've probably seen it... an application that says it will provide the total number of people who view your Facebook page.

The Huffington Post reports the app has various names, including ProfileSpy and Pro Check, and claims it will tell you how many people have viewed your Facebook profile [here comes the catch] if you fill out a short survey and grant the app permission to access your information.

Guess what --as soon as you do that, the software sends your info to the hacker, who can use it for their nefarious purposes, and will likely feed you malware or a virus in the future.
