Three stores in Yakima and one in Toppenish are ranked in the Central Washington region's top ten.

Each year Washington’s Lottery announces its “Luckiest Stores”– the retail locations that have sold the most tickets worth prizes over $1,000 in 2012 - for six regions around the state: Central Washington, Puget Sound, Olympic Peninsula, Eastern Washington, Southwest Washington, and Tri-Cities.

The Yakima Safeway store at 24th and Nob Hill is tied for second place with seven big wins. Rosauer's on 72nd Avenue is tied for third as is the Toppenish Safeway. Yakima's 5th Avenue Safeway is tied for fourth place with five.
