Washington state's revenue forecast is remaining steady.

An updated outlook released Wednesday shows a slight increase in projected revenue collections of $25 million. It's a small amount in a two-year budget cycle in which the state is expected to collect some $33 billion for the general fund.

Steve Lerch is executive director of the Economic and Revenue Forecast Council. He says slow economic growth continues to be the primary trend.

Gov. Jay Inslee is preparing a supplemental budget proposal to be released next month. Lawmakers will return to Olympia in January.
