The Yakima County Auditors office Today certified results of the Washington Presidential Primary in Yakima County. Auditor Charles Ross says 32 percent of the 109, 000 ballots were returned to be counted in the election. "Rough numbers say about 14,000 democrats voted and about 20,000 republicans voted in the election." Ross says the next ballot you'll see will be for the August 2 Primary Election in which you'll have a chance to vote on contested federal state and local races. That will set up all the races for the November 8 General Election.
