While people voted in the Wisconsin primary Tuesday the Washington State Presidential Primary wont' be held until May 24. But the Yakima County Auditors office is already getting calls from voters with questions. He says his office is preparing for the primary when they'll send out more than 107,000 ballots at the beginning of May. Auditor Charles Ross says only the presidential race will be on the ballot. Ross says once you get your ballot remember you must pick a party and a candidate. "The only time we do this is with a presidential primary. It's the only time you have to dedicate to a party and declare your vote to count." But Ross says when the presidential election is held in November that rule is not in play. If you haven't yet registered for the May 24 presidential primary, the deadline is may 16.
