Washington Is A Good State for Healthy, Successful Women –Dave’s Diary

Fellas, you know you put your better half up on that pedestal where she belongs. But what about those guys across the street or down town or anywhere else in your state? And what about your state?  Are you, is SHE in good company?  Turns out in Washington she is and you are.

According to the Center for American Progress--based on 36 factors that center around economics, leadership and health--the best state in the country for women to call home is Maryland

Old Line State ranked first in the nation for women reaching high-ranking positions in the public and private sectors. Washington creeped into the top ten.

Louisiana was ranked as the worst place for women to live. In addition, seven of the top 10 worst states for women to live are in the South.
