Next Tuesday your ballot is due in the Yakima County Auditors office. Next Tuesday is primary election day in Washington State. Yakima County Auditor Charles Ross says of the 40,000 ballot sent to voters he expects about 25 to 30 percent to be returned. So far today about 13 percent of ballots are in the auditors office.  Ross says ballots are being sent to voters in Yakima, Union Gap, Granger and the Naches Valley School District.
If you live in District 7 in the city of Yakima you won't see a ballot for the primary election because the only two candidates in that district automatically move on to the General Election.
