Volunteers Needs for Cold Weather Shelters in Yakima and Sunnyside

Winter is right around the corner and Yakima’s Sunrise Outreach center is scrambling to get enough volunteers to open cold weather shelters. Next month in Yakima and Sunnyside. Spokesman Ken Trainor says if you are interested in volunteering for the cold weather shelters in Yakima or Sunnyside this year you’ll need a one time one hour training session. Training sessions are set for this month and next in Yakima and Sunnyside. If you’d like to get involved contact the Sunrise Outreach Center at Vineyard Church at 225 9310.
