A retired K-9 from the Yakima Police Department has been nominated as the 2018 Law Enforcement Dog of The Year. Former Yakima Police Officer Jason Johnson says Flash was the inspiration for him starting Project K-9 Hero, a foundation that supports retired police K-9's.
