Despite Tuesday's windy conditions firefighters battling the Range 12 Fire make progress in containment. The fire is now 60 percent contained at 176,000 acres. Fire officials from The Northwest Incident Management Team 8 say full containment is expected on Thursday. The team is managing the fire with a lot of resources and more than 200 firefighters. They're  Fire officials say the Red Flag Warning on Tuesday resulted high, gusty winds and low relative humidity. The dry, cold front moved through the area bringing the predicted 22 mph sustained west winds with gusts up to 33 mph. but despite the wind firefighters are happy they were able to make progress against the fire. Today a warming trend will begin with lighter winds as firefighters continue to try and fully contain the largest fire burning in the state.
