An arrest is made in possible connection to a homicide that took place Friday with a man’s body being found in the trunk of his girlfriend’s car.

KAPP-tv reports a 20-year-old female was arrested on a charge of second-degree murder after she came to the attention of investigators via phone records and other additional factors that developed throughout the day.

The Yakima County Sheriff deputies say the investigation of Alberto Gabriel Martinez’ death and being abandoned in a Honda Civic off of Highway 97 is ongoing with more suspects being sought as reported by KAPP-tv.
