The workshops to be held next week will seek input on the development future of SR 410 from Naches over Chinook Pass to Enumclaw.

Citzens are asked  help guide the future of recreation, tourism, and stewardship along SR 410, the Chinook Scenic Byway. Connecting between Naches and Enumclaw, the Chinook Scenic Byway is known as one of Washington State’s most beautiful drives, an a prime recreation area.

Upcoming workshops will kick off the development of a plans for the byway. The plans are expected to address opportunities to enhance recreation, strategies for stewardship of public lands, and ideas for quality of life and economic development for communities along the byway. These workshops are an opportunity  to share people's  favoriteplaces along SR 410, discuss  concerns, and get the best ideas into a plan for the future of the byway.

Meetings are scheduled for:

• Naches Train Depot at 6:30 pm, Tuesday, Oct.15

• Nile Clubhouse at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, Oct. 16

• Enumclaw Community/Senior Center- 6:30 pm, Nov. 13
