John Munzanreder, 43, was officially charged yesterday with first-degree murder in last Thursday's fatal shooting of his wife Cynthia outside a Union Gap theater. His alleged accomplice and co-worker Juan Ibanez Cortes was also charged with first-degree murder and a charge of alien in possession of a firearm. Police say John Munzanreder devised the plan.

Union Gap's interim Police Chief Greg Cobb says even though they have made two arrests the investigation is ongoing.

“We are not satisfied that we have all the information that we need so we continue to investigate," says Cobb.

Both suspects will be back in court in two weeks. Both are being held in the Yakima County jail.
