Union Gap Man Struck And Killed Monday Near Mabton

A 31-year-old man was struck and killed while walking across State Route 22 early Monday morning. Washington State Patrol Troopers say Juan Martinez of Union Gap was walking across the road about 10 miles West of Mabton when he was struck by a passing vehicle. The driver was not injured or cited.
