Two roads will see closures as the city will be extending an industrial sewer line between March 24 and April 16.

Nob Hill Boulevard will be most effected as it will see nightly closures starting March 26 through April. The road will be closed from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. between 6th Street and 1st Street as the city installs a new sewer pipe and then repairs the road.

The other road will be 6th Street though that will be for only two days, March 24 and 25. The road will be closed during the day from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and will occur Nob Hill Boulevard and Ranch Rite Road.

There is expected to be traffic delays during the entire project as cars will be moved to detour routes. Access to the homes and businesses of the area will be limited but the city says they will try to maintain that access as much as possible.

The work is being done by P.O.W. Contracting, Inc. which is based in Pasco.

The schedule is subject to change depending on weather, equipment readiness and more.
