Two Women Rescued From Rock On Tieton River

The Yakima Fire Department was called Wednesday afternoon to help the Naches Fire Department rescue two females stranded on a rock in the middle of the Tieton River near Hause Creek Campground. Rescue crews used ropes to get the two women to shore. There were no injuries. Firefighters say if you are trying to cool down stay away from the river because of the cold and fast running water.
