As for retail stores, there were two applications in Yakima county, and five in Benton and Franklin counties, including one each in Kennewick, Richland, and West Richland and two in Pasco. The two stores in Yakima County are Happy Daze in Selah and Mill Creek Natural Foods in Union Gap.

The board says it will license up to 334 pot shops statewide. There is no limit on the number of growers or processors.
