Two Small Stores Robbed In Yakima Tuesday Night

Shops In New York's Tony Hamptons Begin To Accept EurosYakima Police say two small store robberies were reported on Tuesday night. The first happened at the Roadrunner at 1820 South Third Avenue at about 10:00 p.m. Two armed suspects walked in the store threatened the clerk and stole cash from register.
Then about 20 minutes later another robbery reported at the College Mart at 1106 West Nob Hill. Police say two suspects walked in and one of the suspects threatened the clerk with a gun and stole money from the cash register. Police spokesman Mike Bastinelli says they suspect the two robberies are connected. He says Police are investigating a rash of small store robberies reported since early April.
