Two Sections of J Street to Close for Several Days

The City of Yakima says the closure of two sections of J Street to through traffic begins tomorrow, June 3rd, for a wastewater line installation project and will be closed through at least Friday, June 7th. 

The four-block section of J Street between 16^th Avenue and 20^th Avenue and the two-block section of J Street between 6^th Avenue and 8^th Avenue will both be closed, according to the city with traffic likely to be congested.

The city says traffic controls will be in place during the project and using alternate routes is advised with access to homes and businesses being maintained.
