Two-Foot Root Ball Breaks Nob Hill Water Line
Some Yakima residents went without irrigation water for about a week. Water has been partially restored for people between 7th and 12th Avenues in the Nob Hill area. A two-foot root ball broke a water valve. The root has been removed but residents have to wait for spare parts to come in. Until the parts are replaced, about 700 water customers will find they have less water than usual. Work on the problem is expected to fixed by Wednesday.
