Yakima Police say two brothers were shot Sunday night during a confrontation in the 500 block of North 9th Street. Police spokesman Mike Bastinelli says 3 suspects were talking with the two brothers ages 17 and 30 when one of the suspects pulled a gun and fired shots striking the brothers in the legs. “Apparently they knew the victims. It was some sort of drug deal that went awry.”
The two brothers were taken to a Yakima hospital to be treated for non-life threatening wounds.
Bastinelli says police are searching for the three suspects with help from the brothers who were injured.
