Two men are sitting in the Yakima County jail this morning after being arrested in a drive-by shooting Sunday morning in the lower valley.

The first happened on North Track Road in Wapato and a second just minutes later.

Witnesses told police to search for a green minivan and that's when police spotted the van in Wnion Gap. Officers stopped the vehicle and two suspects were taken into custody. A .38 revolver was found on the floor board of the van.

The two suspects were identified as a 21-year old from Union Gap and a 20-year old from Wapato. Initial information indicates that this might be gang related. Both were booked into Yakima County jail on three counts of 1st degree assault.

No injuries were reported in the shootings.
